    Hi.. I've got all the oil cans and air core inductors to up-grade my N1500A x/over.

    Question is, I wish to remove the HF attenuator from the circuit, can I just connect direct to the 3 uf. cap and at the same time also remove the 20 ohms resistor?

    Appreciate any suggestion forecoming,

    My schematic of the N1500 shows a 25 Ohm pot with a series fixed 15 Ohm resistor connected across the coil. To keep the same circuit but fixed at min attn ; replace the pot and resistor with a single fixed resistor who's value is the sum of their values.
    R = 25 + 15 = 40 Ohms.
